Identifies and implements methods for reducing operational expenditures of supplies while focusing on standardization and utilization resulting in increased efficiency and customer satisfaction 4.    Manages resource and expense use within budgetary guidelines. Provides accurate and timely information for departmental budgets.5.    Builds effective relationships. Interact regularly with facility staff and leadership to provide high quality services. Assesses departmental performance, resolves problems, and identifies new opportunities to improved services and cost effectiveness. Regularly responds to requests and needs for materials and supply services from staff and departments throughout the campus and external customers. 6.    Regularly responds to requests and needs for materials and supply services from staff and departments throughout FHP. Provides customer service to managers, supervisors, physicians, nurses, other staff members, patients and/or visitors regarding information on ordering, shipping, and receiving issues and related needs. 7.    Develops and continually updates work processes to meet changing and growing needs for supply chain services. Makes recommendations, devises, implements, and enforces department policies and procedures in conjunction with other members of the leadership team. Works as a member of the system/region materials leadership team to develop and standardize efficient and effective practices. May be responsible for ensuring that staff is fully trained and certified in forklift equipment operation as well as fully educated and held accountable for all safety procedures.8.    Maintains, updates, researches, and tracks shipping/receiving records for departments, Lawson and Accounts Payable. Maintains department records relating to personnel matters, in-service education, accounts payable, supplies received, equipment maintenance, and other related areas.9.    Responsible for the receiving and asset tagging of all Capital equipment. Responsibility includes cataloging and tagging all capital assets as they come into the facility and insuring that all documentation is included and annotated. Has the ability and responsibility to maintenance the minor equipment side of the asset program as well.<h4>Qualifications</h4>·    Must posses a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.·    Requires the skills, knowledge and experience acquired over three (3) or more years of computerized inventory management and shipping and receiving functions, plus extensive knowledge of healthcare supplies and handling processes. ·    Requires sound math and business skills, intermediate abilities in word processing, spreadsheet and/or database software use, and the ability to research and compile statistical reports. Effective organizational, communication, and human relations skills are necessary as the incumbent will be coordinating several projects simultaneously and working closely with department managers and all levels of staff.·    May be required to be forklift certified within 30 days in certain facilities Preferred Qualifications·    Prior lead or supervisory experience·    Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

We have a dedicated team of receivers who receive up to 200 loads per week. Our receiving crew work together to unload trailers, break down pallets, make sure items are on receiving paperwork match what's on the pallet. Responsibilities:
<ol start="1"><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Takes a daily inventory of assigned supply storage area and/or clinical department supplies (Par Carts), requisitions and restocks supplies to par levels. Rotates stock and maintains a clean and orderly storage area in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.</li></ol><ol start="2"><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Monitors usage, creates utilization reports, consults with clinical supply liaison or appropriate department staff, recommend changes to inventory and par levels.</li></ol><ol start="3"><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Assists with the procurement of special supply needs and may assist assigned department with the procurement of equipment.</li></ol><ol start="4"><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Acts as a knowledge resource for clinical or other related staff in the area of supply methods and goods. </li></ol>Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Qualifications:
Requires reading, writing and mathematical skills at a level normally evidenced by a high school diploma. An understanding of inventory management tasks and the ability to work effectively with a computer based inventory management system. Requires accurate data entry and keyboarding skills, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, the ability to read and interpret supply requisitions and equipment directions. Must have demonstrated effective customer service skills.Positions in Food Service area must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with medical supplies or food supplies (as applicable) and/or hospital services is strongly preferred and may be required for some work assignments.
