We are looking for a candidate that has experience in the following areas: Contracting/Procurement/Property Control: Knowledge of various types of contracts, techniques, or requirements for contracting or procurement, contract negotiation and administration; procedures for routine and non-routine purchases; practices and methods used for property control activities, including acquisition, storage, accounting, and controlled property excess. What you will be doing: In this role you will lead and manage construction related procurement activities for the Village Safe Water Program (VSW), including formal and informal procurements, professional services agreements, contract awards, and contract management, while ensuring procurement actions comply with state and federal requirements, department policies, the Village Safe Water Act, and the State Procurement Code.
