Under the general supervision of the Municipal Engineer, the Engineering Project Manager I - IV positions exercise independent judgement and discretion based on their experience, licenses, and certifications as a professional with technical expertise to perform the daily tasks and responsibilities within department established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations and consistent with the capital projects contracts and requirements. Engineering Project Managers assist and act in a confidential capacity to the Municipal Engineer, Public Works Director, Municipal Administrator, Assembly, Municipal Attorney, and other department heads who formulates, determines, or effectuates management policies.
