Surgical responsibilities include all aspects of thoracic disease including minimally invasive and open lung resections, benign and malignant esophageal disease, endoscopic and open airway interventions, chest wall reconstruction, and management of diaphragmatic and pleural diseases. Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialist .
