ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assess patients with musculoskeletal disability, taking and recording a salient history, examination and formulating an appropriate management plan including relevant investigations and surgical or non-operative management. When surgical management is appropriate, undertaking careful consent, clarifying to the patient (where appropriate) and family member the nature of the procedure that is advised, the risks, possible alternatives and nature of anesthesia required.
