Cardiothoracic Surgeon - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)The Cardiothoracic Surgeon performs comprehensive clinical Cardiothoracic Surgery services, such as VATs (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery), Lobectomy, thoracotomy, diaphragm plication, chest wall hernia repair, decortication, pleurectomy, and chest tube management with tPA, as well as other complex Cardiothoracic surgery procedures. Deliver on-site open-heart cardiothoracic surgery services, including initial patient evaluation in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings, performing surgical procedures in the operating room, and providing post-operative care.
