This role is responsible for recognizing and reporting illegal activities, safety concerns, and other unusual incidents, and for collaborating with Supervisors, Team Leads, shelter and Drop-In Center staff, community partners, and emergency response personnel, including law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services, as appropriate. To support guest independence and maintain a positive living environment, the Program Assistant assists with the upkeep of shelter rooms and common areas and encourages active participation in maintaining community spaces.
