The states in which U-Haul will decline to hire nicotine users are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington. Under the general direction of the Claims Manager, Repwest Insurance, responsible for the investigation, evaluation and settlement (either by denial, compromise or payment) of claims arising from physical damages to vehicles, property of customers (higher and more complex cases) and third parties (medium to high exposure bodily injury claims).
