Education, Certifications, and Licenses: - High School Diploma or GED - Completion of a technologist training program accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) - Current BLS certification Experience Required: - At least 1 year of experience Knowledge of: - Anatomy, physiology, appropriate instrumentation, suturing materials, needles, prosthetic devices, and other supplies - Wound healing and complications - Normal growth, development, and life cycle changes Skills in: - Sterile technique and processing - Patient positioning - Handling requests made during surgery Shift Details: Days, 4x10 hours. - Develop and implement educational programs and learning aids for the department.
