FULL TIME / EXPERIENCED Professional Land Surveyor Regional Office: Cape Girardeau, MO FURTHER YOUR SURVEYING CAREER We’re looking for a dedicated Professional Land Surveyor who recognizes the importance land surveying plays at a multidisciplinary firm like Klingner. You’ll be working both in the field and the office on an incredible variety of projects. Klingner has the capacity and capability to perform surveys of all types and complexities — from residential lot surveys to major construction or subdivision projects. No day will likely be the same. We understand that Land Surveying is the basis for our engineering and design work. RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li> </li><li>Perform and provide control, boundary, topographic, drones, utility, ALTA, Right-of-Way, 3D Laser Scanning, hydrographic, and construction surveying services.</li><li> </li><li>Search courthouse records, in-house survey records, road records, and other records relevant to the survey being performed.</li><li> </li><li>Perform calculations based on field data, research, and other resources as necessary to determine property boundaries.</li><li> </li><li>Prepare topographic / utility survey drawings.</li><li> </li><li>Review, sign, and seal plats and other documents for recording and write legal descriptions.</li><li> </li><li>Perform construction staking and as-built surveys.</li><li> </li><li>Operate survey-related equipment and software.</li><li> </li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with clients.</li><li> </li><li>Assist in the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and invoices.</li><li> </li><li>Coordinate with office staff members, clients, and other key stakeholders.</li><li> </li><li>Assist, train, direct, and supervise field crew and office staff members.</li><li> </li><li>Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain survey equipment.</li><li> </li></ul> Please Note: This a full-time position. Additional training can be provided.
