Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: • Bachelor or Associates degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, Geospatial Information Sciences or related field or a minimum of three years of progressive survey field experience • Experience working with GPS and 3D laser scanning a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, scope of services, project budgets, jurisdictional platting & submittal requirements, and procedure manuals • Ability to read deed descriptions, title reports, zoning reports, survey plats, DOT plans, engineering drawings, and aerial topographic mapping • Ability to understand and follow instructions • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as trigonometry and geometry.
