Performs routine tasks in the field such as facility inventory, collecting various measurements of distances or objects in or on surfaces, poles and trenches, taking digital images of field conditions, and writing field notes on paper or GPS. Under direct supervision of the Environmental Engineer, or Supervising Engineer, performs responsible Geographic Information System (GIS) work in the preparation of GIS products and AutoCAD drafting work in the preparation of utility engineering drawings.
