Phasor Engineering LLC is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for a permanent position within the southern United States to help with our growing operations there.  We have a number of large projects in the western United States, and we are well positioned to continue to grow.  We are looking for additional Land Surveyors to support our current projects and support growth.  The candidate must be licensed in Texas and Louisiana and willing to get licensed in additional states.  All costs associated with obtaining additional licenses will be paid by Phasor.  Work-from-home or a hybrid work scenario will be explored with applicants.This is a professional position so all the work responsibilities and conditions can’t be completely explored in a typical job advertisement write-up.  We would like to meet with any interesting candidates to explore the opportunity and ensure that Phasor is the right fit for you.  We are flexible on the working conditions for the right candidate. Overview:
Assist in the preparation of project deliverables and contract documents in accordance with the company design standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Direction<ul><li>Perform work under moderate supervision. Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.</li></ul>At the Operational and Company Level<ul><li>Work closely with more senior staff members to learn and assist in design work.</li></ul>Do the Work<ul><li>Under supervision, convert all applicable information into electronically generated drawings and project documents with accuracy, neatness, and speed.</li><li>Perform horizontal computations for boundary surveys and analyses of field location and record information to determine property lines.</li><li>Draft final house location surveys from survey crew field notes and personal field measurements of building improvements.</li><li>Compute horizontal positions of planned buildings, streets, curbs, etc. for stakeouts.</li><li>Check record plats for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for review.</li><li>Submit plots to county for review.</li><li>Gain a thorough knowledge of ALTA Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, residential and commercial construction stakeout procedures, and practices.</li><li>Perform a variety of complex computations for traverse, record plats, boundary surveys, construction stakeouts, horizontal control, etc.</li><li>May complete land development related surveys as well as boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, and subdivision layout (traditional land development work).</li></ul>

Commensurate relevant experience considered.</li><li>Three or more (3+) years of survey and/or CAD experience in the land development/land survey industry.</li><li>Knowledge of basic design concepts and technical calculations.</li><li>Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Surveyor-In-Training certificate preferred.</li><li>Relevant survey licensure a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in land surveying and/or surface modeling software such as Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak, Revit, or similar civil engineering design software.</li></ul>

Ability to interpret and accurately apply municipal codes and regulations for Plat preparation and approval.</li><li>Proven marketing and business development skills.</li><li>Must be licensed surveyor in relevant state.</li><li>Experience managing a Survey Department is preferred.</li></ul>
