Leads ESG initiatives associated with our environmental performance (GHG, waste reduction) and influence and support the direction of Social and Governance priorities including, but not limited to supply chain and product governance with key functional leadership groups; Responsible for communicating MSC's integrated sustainability strategy, action plans and progress to key stakeholders (including board level, associates, investor, shareholders, government bodies and customers); Positions MSC as a leader in the distribution industry regarding key material sustainability topics; Manages annual facility capex planning, project prioritization and execution. Actively participates as a business partner to create, implement and maintain Risk Management/EHS processes including, but not limited to: key performance indicators (KPIs), hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation, legal and other obligations, EHS training, document management and recordkeeping, audits, inspections, operational control assessments, emergency response, incident investigation and corrective and preventative action prescriptions; Continuously seeks to enhance or identify opportunities related to best practices, emerging issues and risks, preventive and corrective measures, compliance and other obligations.
