Reporting to the Director of Campus Facilities, the successful candidate will assist with the following responsibilities: Prepare designs, specifications, and cost estimation for in-house facilities improvement and alteration projects; Coordinate and review design for Capital Improvement Program projects; Coordinate field construction and perform construction quality audit; Engage in complex research, planning investigation, studies, or examinations; Prepare, maintain and file reference materials and project drawings; Coordinate Facilities' infrastructure projects from conception to commissioning on critical building systems, (e.g., boilers, chillers, mechanical systems, HVAC/distribution systems, structural, UPS, electrical, plumbing, BMS/controls logic, and fire/life-safety.). Under supervision with limited latitude for independent action or decision performs engineering work of limited difficulty and responsibility such as the following: Prepares designs, plans, contract and working drawings, contract specifications and other documents and estimates of quantities.
