PhD or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Operational Research, Applied Math or Computer ScienceExperience in developing software for wholesale electricity markets, including relational database and optimization techniquesKnowledge of the electricity market operationUnderstanding of power system operations and analysisExperience with programming and modeling languages such as Java, Python, GAMS, AIMMS etc. is highly desirableWorking experience with commercial optimization solvers such CPLEX and GUROBIInterest in acquiring knowledge and expertise in new technologies related to electricity markets, optimization and computing.
