Performs technical, detailed, and responsible law enforcement support work; Provides general support services for the San Leandro Police Department including maintenance of jail operations, criminal investigations support, traffic and patrol duties, and recordkeeping functions; Assists with arraignments, maintains jail log, delivery of court documents, including case reports, operates city vehicles; processes and searches incoming prisoners; transfers prisoners; Prepares and distributes meals, dispenses medications, monitors prisoner safety and well-being, and screens and refers requests for medical attention; Transports victims, witnesses, and equipment; and performs related duties as assigned.
