Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience in a leadership role of a technical team • Experience managing development projects • Minimum of 7 years of industry experience • Strong understanding of systems design, systems engineering principles, methodologies, and tools • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience working with peer organizations • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Experience working in cross-functional teams • A self-managed individual who is a team player with leadership qualities • Attends trainings or self-trains to continuously improve skillsets • Able to travel up to 20 work weekends, holidays, and overtime when required. Manage the work • Provide guidance and technical expertise during the development process • Coordinate and oversee the engineering efforts of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team • Facilitate design reviews, ensure subsystem compliance, and approve designs • Lead and track decision-making efforts • Coordinate verification and validation of components, subsystems, and systems • Oversee the integration and testing of system components and subsystems.
