Collaborate daily with Chassis Engineers and key cross-functional partners, including Design, CAE, Design Studio, Vehicle Architecture, Purchasing, Cost Estimating, Performance Integration, Manufacturing, Service Engineering, Body, Powertrain, Electrical, and other commodity teams, to develop the optimal overall vehicle solution. During the early phases of vehicle development, the DRE is responsible for guiding the team toward balanced subsystem designs that optimize cost, mass, manufacturability, assembly, durability, and vehicle performance.
