Triage incoming bugs, and provide insights on trends and capacity in the incoming bug queue Maintain source code repositories, including branching for releases and tagging for submissions to the operating system build process Create continuous integration and automated test pipelines, assess their results, and escalate regressions Assist engineers with understanding the bug reporting system, the build system, and other development infrastructure Develop innovative new approaches to scaling the craft of triaging bugs using artificial intelligence tools and other emerging technologies Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience Familiarity with consumer-facing software development processes Expertise with bug tracking systems Experience with source control (git experience preferred) Familiarity with Apple operating systems, especially watchOS and iOS Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems Familiarity with large language models and adjacent generative AI tools, including skills, agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Practical experience with command line tools, UNIX, Linux, or Terminal Experience with scripting languages, like Python, JavaScript, or shell scripting (zsh, bash)Experience using Apple development tools (Xcode, Instruments) Knowledge of Objective-C and Swift, and frameworks including SwiftUI Experience debugging software issues Experience with data analytics and understanding large data sets Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
