<h2>About The Opportunity  </h2>The Computer Support Intern for the Netrix Global team will work onsite full-time at our K-12 school's client locations. This individual is responsible for working closely with clients and cross functional support teams to manage and maintain the technology used by these customers. This is a full-time summer position lasting up to 12 weeks during the summer months and will involve using both technology and business skills in support of our client's environment.The position requires technical workstation knowledge, and basic knowledge of both Microsoft Windows, Apple OSX, and/or Google Chrome operating systems, basic network administration and troubleshooting skills. Interns will possess attention to detail, business intuition, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to professionally conduct oneself to all levels of the corporate structure.  This position will require travel within your region therefore adequate transportation is a requirement - utilizing public transportation and/or personal vehicle where necessary. Responsibilities:
Design, architect and develop advanced software solutions in a cross functional Agile team supporting multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, including:<ul><li>Lead/collaborate on development of technical design and specifications as required.</li><li>Code, test and document new applications as well as maintain existing system functionality.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements definition, development of functional specifications, and design.</li><li>Play a pivotal role in all aspects of development for the software used in one or more phases of camera systems development.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Image Science or a related field.</li><li>Strong programming skills and ability to produce high quality code in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated and eager to meet customer needs.</li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Solid understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Development Process.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Strong experience in C/C++ (Windows Development Studio/Linux), C#, Python, and OpenCV.</li><li>Familiarity with hardware interfaces (e.g. camera control, Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232, digital interfaces, CoE, motion control, time synchronization).</li><li>3 years professional experience; 4 years preferred.</li><li>Strong mathematical skills.</li><li>Database systems and SQL (Postgres).</li><li>Some GIS knowledge/experience.</li><li>Web Development (JavaScript, React/Redux or similar).</li></ul>
