Assists and executes various Human Resources functions including employee relations, staffing, orientation, benefits administration, payroll, workers compensation, training, safety programs, and compliance to federal, state, and local employment and safety laws and company policies. Responsibilities Talent Acquisition In collaboration with leadership, develops and executes, short- and long-term plans to recruit and fill open direct labor positions, monitoring progress to ensure alignment. Supports client groups in effectively identifying and planning for future talent needs and continually upgrading the talent we bring into the organization. Employee Engagement and Communications Drives employee engagement, ensuring that employees voices are heard, suggestions are addressed, and continuous improvement actions are taken. Coordinates communications: from Town Halls to beginning of shift meetings, ensuring that clear and consistent messages are shared between leadership and the workforce. In partnership with the HR Manager, coaches and counsels leaders and employees on employee relations matters consistent with company policies, legal considerations and company priorities serving as an advocate for both employee and company concerns. Conducts and addresses issues discovered in investigations. Total Rewards Management Partners with the HR Manager and Total Rewards COE to effectively implement and communicate compensation and benefits programs to successfully attract, motivate and retain employees. Assists in identifying and developing innovative incentive/reward systems which address the unique needs of their location. Talent Management, Training and Development Drives progress toward Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion aspirations and ensure diversity of talent. Consults with leadership on training and development needs within their teams. Delivers training if/as needed. Change Management / Organization Leadership Partners with the HR Manager in organizational transformation initiatives and partners with the leadership team in elevating the performance of the business. Drives organizational health, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity and culture initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and/or a closely related field with a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Culture and Transformation: Experience in building and sustaining positive culture Business acumen: Curious about business; with good business sense and judgement. Our client, a package delivery and supply chain management company, is seeking an experienced HR Assistant Specialist for a 6+ month contract role in West Yarmouth, MA.  This role is fully onsite, hours are 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM.   Job Summary 
The HR Assistant Specialist provides support in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment and employment, employee and/or labor relations, overseeing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or the Vendor Management System (VMS), and special projects related to Workforce Planning. 
He/She works with the hiring managers, will need to collaborate with region/country/corporate Human Resources (HR) teams to provide ATS/VMS support and run reports. This position requires effective communication skills, recruitment experience, and some knowledge of employment laws. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent with 2 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. 
This position will require the HR Assistant Specialist to travel in their personal vehicle on an as needed basis. 
Work approximately 40 hours per week (able to work overtime as needed); must be flexible to locations and district assignments as needed.
<ul><li>This resource will support the Human Resources group assigned to their area with some administrative tasks, running reports, conduct follow-up with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) team and the HR team(s).
	</li><li>Monitors Job Requisitions ATS/VMS
	</li><li>Submits new requisitions in the Vendor Management System (VMS), IQNavigator (IQN) for contingent worker needs
	</li><li>Manage the requisitions in the Vendor Management System (VMS)
	</li><li>Contacts the hiring manager for additional information for an approve requisition.
	</li><li>Understands requests from end users to troubleshoot issues.
	</li><li>Provides guidance, responds to inquiries, and acts as subject matter expert to the Human Resources (HR) leads/teams and external candidates to assist with system set up and related issues.
	</li><li>Provides training to all system end users and process owners.
	</li><li>Communicates system information to HR and hiring teams.
	</li><li>Works with HR teams to develop data elements for reporting of workforce planning initiatives to provide requested information, supply access to information utilized for evaluation against defined targets, and reduce generation of ad hoc reports.
	</li><li>Creates and distribute reports to various business units on requisition, recruiting, and hiring activities.
	</li><li>Selects and Reviews Candidates for (direct hire candidates only)
	</li><li>Selects candidates and review resume, identifying those having the basic qualifications for the job.
	</li><li>Forwards selected resumes to hiring manager for review.
	</li><li>Follows-up with the hiring manager on selected candidates.
	</li><li>Screens Candidates (direct hire candidates only) & Coordinate Interview and Assessment Process
	</li><li>Conducts an HR fit phone interview with the candidates to aid in the selection of the right talent for the right positions within the company.
	</li><li>Coordinates all necessary assessments with the local HR contacts.
	</li><li>Coordinates the functional interviews with the hiring manager.
	</li><li>Follow-up with the hiring manager on interview results.
</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Associate's degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred or its equivalent with 2 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Pay Rate- $20.40-$30.60/ hour
