Responsibilities:Assist with individualized therapy activities and classroom/lesson preparationSupport group therapy rotationsCollaborate daily with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workersHelp maintain a positive, engaging, play-based learning environmentKnowledge and Skills Required:Associate's degree or equivalent college credit (60 credits) required; Bachelor's degree preferredExperience working with children or clients with special needs requiredWorking Environment and Physical Demands:Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc. About the RoleAs a Therapeutic Assistant, you will support children ages 2-7 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
