The ASL Teacher plans and delivers differentiated instruction that supports students at varying levels of proficiency, assesses student progress, maintains an effective and inclusive learning environment, and collaborates with colleagues, families, and school administrators to support student achievement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: ASL Instruction: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in American Sign Language, including receptive and expressive communication, vocabulary, grammatical structures, fingerspelling, non-manual signals, spatial organization, and conversational skills.
