Preschool Teacher Duties and Responsibilities: Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of the children Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Observe and assess the development of the children Develop and implement behavior management strategies Participate in parent-teacher conferences Maintain proper records, including documenting observations and milestones Ensure all safety regulations are followed Maintain a clean and organized classroom Model appropriate behaviors for children Work with a team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environment The following duties are normal for this position but are not all-inclusive. Spacious new classrooms with excellent teacher/student ratios, brand new indoor and outdoor playgrounds, teacher workroom, staff lounges, and onsite security.
