Providing specialised instruction and supports that may include unique skills and training in Discrete Trial Teaching, behavior plan implementation, de-escalation techniques, psychological and physical management, health care/medical needs, feeding, ambulation, etc. The Tier 3 Teaching Assistant, under the direction of a certified special education staff member, assists in the implementation of specialized instruction and provides supports as specified in the Individualized Education Programs.
