This position reviews travelers, blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, machining parameters, and GD&T requirements; programs mills and lathes; sets zero and reference points, tool registers, offsets, and compensation; performs machine setups using chucks, collets, tooling, and fixtures; and verifies first-run and in-process parts. The Machinist will perform drilling, grooving, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations, troubleshoot machining issues, adjust or reprogram controls as needed, replace worn tooling, and inspect completed work using calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring devices.
