With that said, there are primary job responsibilities and measurements of success for this position, which are:</p><ul><li>Evaluate purchase requisitions with supply chain management to determine quantities and delivery dates as determined by program requirements.</li><li>Execute on required quoting efforts including volume price breaks and communicating lead time expectations with potential suppliers.</li><li>Maintain a quote archive that is organized and searchable for future reference on pricing and lead time.</li><li>Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts.</li><li>Monitors supplier performance and prepares reports and other records pertaining to the items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product or service performance, supplier performance and/or inventories, as applicable.</li><li>Completes accurate and timely data entry of purchase orders.</li><li>Expedites and coordinates critical deliveries, emergency requisitions, and quotes.</li><li>Acts an interface between Supplier and internal departments regarding orders.</li><li>Tracks and communicates order status.</li><li>Coordinates with Operations Support Specialist to solve material discrepancies.</li><li>Works closely with the Accounting to solve invoice discrepancies.</li><li>Obtains RMA's for return products and generate shippers.</li><li>Identify shortages and communicate risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.</li></ul><p>Education and/or Experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.</li><li>2-5 years of experience in procurement.</li><li>Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions.</li><li>Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office.</li><li>U.S. Person Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and access to export-controlled information, applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under U.S. export control laws. The Customer Service Specialists works in a fast-paced environment answering inbound calls and making outbound calls. This position provides first level technical assistance, troubleshooting, and customer service for computer hardware, software, classroom technology, and campus systems. The IT Help Desk Technician supports teaching, learning, and administrative operations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, service quality, and information security.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS<br/>1. Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.    Bachelor's degree preferred. <br/>2.	Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common desktop applications. <br/>3.	Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. <br/>4.	Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues using a logical and methodical approach. <br/>5.	Ability to work effectively with a diverse campus community, including students, faculty, and staff. <br/>6. Support classroom and instructional technology, including projectors, computers, and audio visual equipment. <br/>7.	Respond to classroom technology issues during instructional hours as assigned. <br/>8.	Accurately document service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system. <br/>9.	Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate IT staff while maintaining ownership of the request. <br/>10.	Assist with technology deployments, refresh cycles, inventory tracking, and IT projects as assigned. <br/>11.
