Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Champion Pembina's Zero by Choice safety culture and Life Saving Rules by embedding physical, psychological, and cyber safety into all work practices while taking personal accountability to maintain compliance, support audit readiness, proactively identify risks, and protect our people, assets, and data; Work as part of a team with a primary role as a technician, assisting in pump station and meter station operations, and supporting other trades when and where needed;Perform routine pipeline operations and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting failures, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment, electrical troubleshooting and repair, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and minor programming modifications to support reliable facility operations; Support the operation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of automation, control, and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, RTUs, HMI interfaces, and associated control equipment;Locate and mark Cochin facilities per Pembina's Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during excavation; Ensure all maintenance and operations duties are completed safely, in compliance with Pembina's procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices;Provide oversight and inspection to ensure asset protection and compliance with company procedures for excavation activities near pipeline facilities; Participate in a 7-day on-call rotation, responding as required to equipment, automation, control system, and operational problems;Occasional overnight travel will be required;Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work overtime as needed;Maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations of facilities and control systems;Work effectively within a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture; Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas, including respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, fire-resistant clothing, heeled safety-toe boots, and hearing protection;Communicate safety concerns and operational risks to Managers and the Safety Department;Demonstrate effective decision-making, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; Display a willingness and desire to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor; and.
