SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Penn State Health Life Safety Manager, the Safety and Health Coordinator is responsible to assess, perform and oversee safety processes, including injury investigation, building safety and fire equipment inspections, indoor air quality, safety policy review, ergonomics, safety training, driver safety programs, designated respiratory fit testing, asbestos, noise monitoring, employee exposure control monitoring, safety committee, and monitor and document applicable safety processes for the safe delivery of care and regulatory compliance.
