Troubleshooting and maintaining commercial steam and hot water boilers, boiler room operation and auxiliary equipment, including, but not limited to, boiler controls, water pumps, motors, bearings, valves, electronic controls, water and gas lines, piping, tanks, deaerators, etc. Observes and tests malfunctioning systems to determine cause and appropriate corrective action; reads blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals as applicable to new installations or assigned service/repair orders.
