div class="flex max-w-full flex-col grow">What youll do: The Operational Technologies Technician will assist in the development of Continuous Improvement Engineering initiatives which will result in supporting advancements in productivity, product cost, quality and/or the maintenance of the plant facilities equipment and its production process. They will perform a wide variety of engineering and technical tasks involving the application of engineering knowledge and the development of solutions to complex problems pertaining to products, materials, manufacturing processes, tests, and unique design applications.
For more than 130 years, we have been planning and designing the infrastructure our communities need: developing water supplies, designing roadways and bridges, preparing for natural disasters, and much more. The Applied Technology Leader spearheads the research, development, and implementation of new and emerging technologies to enhance project delivery, operational efficiency, and design quality.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; valid Texas teaching certificate with Technology endorsement, preferred; meets state and federal guidelines for certification; minimum three (3) years teaching experience; experience with Windows, Mac and cloud services; demonstrate successful technology innovations; extended knowledge of curriculum and instruction; demonstrated ability to provide professional development; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies, activities, and resources for distance or virtual learning that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of assigned students according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
