Description:MVR Guidelines  SUMMARYTechnicians install and service telephone, security, video, and internet systems, troubleshoot issues, and educate customers. Important information: <ul><li>Work Type: In-person only (remote work not available).</li><li>Residency: Applicants must live within daily commuting distance. No relocation assistance is provided.</li><li>Compensation: U.S.-based employment only; pay in U.S. Dollars.</li></ul>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES<ul><li>Working for FHG requires travel if other markets are in need. </li><li>Complete all installations according to company and industry standards.</li><li>Accurately complete daily reports and paperwork.</li><li>Acquire and return equipment as directed.</li><li>Maintain tools and vehicles; report any maintenance issues.</li><li>Communicate with Dispatch on arrivals, departures, and any delays. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and immediately report maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager, if operating a company vehicle. (Navigating and adjusting operating systems).</li><li>Ability to identify and troubleshoot CATV technical difficulties.</li><li>Manage time effectively, efficiently, and work independently.</li></ul>EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High School or GED preferred.</li><li>Be at least 21 years old.</li><li>Hold a valid driver’s license.</li><li>Have a minimum of three (3) years of driving history. </li><li>Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations is required. Note: Insurance carriers may review up to seven (7) years of driving history to determine eligibility.</li><li>Due to the sensitive nature of our work inside customers’ homes and businesses, all applicants must pass a comprehensive criminal background check. Felony convictions will result in disqualification. Hourly rate is base on level of experience, certifications and quality of work.</li><li>Production bonus can be earned by completing jobs timely, being at work on time, professional in appearance, craftsmanship and complying to all of FHG’s and MSO’s policies and procedures</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders (up to 28 ft.) and work at heights.</li><li>Use hand tools.</li><li>Frequent stooping, bending and twisting required.</li><li>Work indoors, outdoors, in confined spaces, and while exposed to varied weather.</li><li>Drive during all weather conditions, daytime and nighttime.</li><li>Madison Telecommunications is a Drug-Free Workplace.
