Architectural degrees also accepted CHC license or able to attain within 6 months of employment required PE license preferred 5 years experience in consulting engineering or construction management in a healthcare environment Proven track record of managing construction projects to meet schedule and budget constraints Experience generating construction budgets and cost estimates, organizing bid packages, and negotiating bids for general trades, mechanical, and electric work Knowledge of architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Knowledge of regulatory codes in a healthcare setting: TJC, FGI guidelines, NFPA, Etc. Working closely with Facilities Leadership, Engineering Managers, Project Managers, clinical stakeholders, architects, contractors, and consultants, the Assistant Manager helps deliver projects that enhance patient care environments, improve facility reliability, and support organizational growth.
