Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,886–$3,051 per week- Contract duration: 26 weeks- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12)- Start date: 12/21/2026- Unit setting: Adult Progressive Care/PCU with telemetry- Floating to appropriate units as neededResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care for adult PCU patients, including telemetry monitoring and post-cardiac care per orders- Administer medications and IV therapies, including insulin and cardiac drips as prescribed; start IVs and manage IV therapy- Perform EKGs, monitor vitals and hemodynamics, assess changes in patient condition, and respond with appropriate interventions- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; participate in shift handoffs and care conferences- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC) and manage unit-specific medication administration (MAK) processes- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit protocols; participate in on-unit telemetry and pathway proceduresRequirements- Active Registered Nurse license in New York (NY RN)- Certifications: BLS and ACLS- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty or related critical care/telemetry setting- Telemetry experience required; adult patient population- Ability to float to appropriate units per assignment; strong critical thinking and communication skills- Proficiency with EPIC documentation and unit-specific procedures (e.g., insulin drips, cardiac drips, IV starts, post-cardiac cath care)Benefits and Support- Weekly pay in the range of $2,886–$3,051- 26-week travel assignment with potential for extension based on unit needs- Orientation on unit (1–2 days)- Dedicated recruiter and assignment support through Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Access to unit-specific systems (EPIC, MAK) and on-site clinical supportFind more opportunitiesInterested in other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC?
