Job DescriptionAs a Cash Management Services Teller, you work with your team to ensure the safe and secure preparation and processing of cash, coin, and check deposits for our Loomis customers.Responsibilities: <ul><li> Conduct deposit verification and/or change order preparation using specialized counting equipment and procedures. </li><li> Separate currency, coin, and/or check deposits received from bank, ATM, and/or commercial customers providing accurate count by denomination. </li><li> Prepare currency and/or coin change orders by denomination for each customer assigned. </li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li> Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write, and record numbers. </li><li> Ability to perform simple computer data entry. </li><li> Ability to use calculator by touch. </li></ul> Working Conditions: <ul><li> Full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week performed in 8 hour or split shifts. </li><li> Work is performed in a room or work area within a vault with little or no exposure to outside light. </li><li> Work is performed from a sitting position (on a stool with back support) or standing position (in front of a 3.5 - 4-foot-high counter) </li></ul> Essential Functions/Job Qualifications:As part of the qualification process for the Cash Management Services Teller position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. <ul><li>Enters customers' transactions into computer and issues tickets</li><li>Cashes tickets, cancels tickets and pays out winnings.</li><li>Counts all cash on hand at end of shift to balance to net cash responsibility.</li><li>Provides friendly and efficient guest service.</li><li>Sells vouchers and provides results and summaries as requested.</li><li>Ensures scheduled simulcast races are on designated monitors in the OTB. Using the designated switching system.</li><li>Tellers will punch tickets expeditiously and accurately.</li><li>Tellers will take wagers, count back change and cash winning tickets accurately.</li><li>Tellers will ensure all underage customers remain outside the green line. </li><li>Tellers will ask for proof of age from any guest who appears to be 27 or under and attempts to place a wager (follow Quality Standard “Verify ID for Wagering”).</li><li>Tellers will assist novice wagerers with the wagering process by taking time to place and explain wagers in a friendly and non-intimidating manner.</li><li>Tellers will ensure that guests complete IRS forms as required.</li><li>Tellers will adhere to uniform grooming and appearance standards. </li><li>Tellers will answer or seek answers to all guest questions, including questions regarding the property, products and promotions.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.</li><li>Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.</li><li>Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.</li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li><li>Must be licensed by Maine Harness Racing Commission.</li></ul>
