HOUR

This role serves as the initial point of contact for human resource related services. Team member works collaboratively to provide administrative support for all human resource related functions. Aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations and provides timely service to all team members.Position Responsibilities  <ul><li>Provide administrative support to HR operations including data entry, file maintenance, preparing and generating correspondence, record keeping, etc. </li><li>Answer incoming HR phone calls and emails to provide assistance to internal team member inquiries. </li><li>Assists with leave management to include assisting team members with the leave process, monitoring email box to respond to leave questions and tracking of benefit premiums while team members are out on leave. </li><li>Attend driver orientation and collect applicable employment authorization documents from new hires. </li><li>Complete employment I-9 employment verification process. </li><li>Follow up with team members who require virtual Form I-9 document verification. </li><li>Escalate issues to appropriate level of management as needed. </li><li>Maintain department and team member personnel files/records as required by company policy and regulatory guidelines. Assist department to maintain records digitally. </li><li>Process personnel record changes through JIRA ticketing system for all regular, temporary and contract team members in a timely manner. </li><li>Prepare, maintain and update departmental reporting and spreadsheets as needed. </li><li>Order and track monthly Service Anniversary Awards. </li><li>Assist with monthly payment process for all invoices managed by HR. </li><li>Assist department with unemployment claim response process. </li><li>Produce personnel file records and assist with responses to subpoenas and other formal response processes. </li><li>Assist with all internal HR audits to ensure compliance.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities <ul><li>Strong internal and external customer service skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.</li><li>Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and communicate/work well with others.</li><li>General knowledge of employment law and practices</li><li>Ability to identify and solve problems.</li></ul>Education & Experience <ul><li> Associates Degree in Business Management/Administration/HR Management or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>2 years of customer service experience required.</li><li>Experience with multi-state environment preferred.</li><li>Logistics/Trucking Industry experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment</li></ul>Competitive CompensationWe believe in rewarding excellence. The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
