Responsibilities:** + Conducting site characterization and remedial investigation of surface and subsurface impacts using data collected from soil borings, test pits, surface and borehole geophysical surveys, aquifer testing, and sampling of environmental media (e.g., soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and air) for field screening and laboratory analysis + Preparing soil boring logs, interpreting vadose zone and groundwater characteristics, identifying pathways to environmental receptors, preparing technical site investigation reports, and supporting the development of remedial action plans based on site investigation data + Managing field sample chain-of-custody documentation, packaging, and shipping to laboratories + Overseeing contractor field tasks related to site investigation and remediation activities + Supporting the coordination of field activities, including utility locating, surveying, and oversight of investigation and remediation projects under the direction and guidance of project managers + Communicating effectively with project team members and subcontractors, and support client notifications related to change in field conditions.
