Ability to operate custodial operation-related equipment and use applicable chemicals, supplies, hand and power tools Your Challenge (Role & Responsibilities): ▪ Perform mechanical repairs (and rebuilds) on all machines ▪ Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to maintain trouble-free equipment ▪ Support with scheduling PM, reading reports, diagrams and drawings ▪ Working knowledge of tool Probing function for CNC Mill Machines ▪ Able to work with complex Numerical Control (NC) machines up to & including 5 Axis ▪ Knowledge of OEM machine controllers ▪ Perform machine leveling and alignment on all machines ▪ Pull and replace machine linear guides and ball screws ▪ Identify and replace parts as necessary ▪ Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls ▪ Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues ▪ General facilities maintenance ▪ Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work ▪ Work based on sense of urgency with machine down conditions ▪ In conjunction with production team, will support continuous improvement of development of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failures ▪ Troubleshoot hydraulic, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems ▪ Devise methods of altering machinery and equipment to improve operating characteristics ▪ Fabrication and rebuilding of various mechanical assemblies ▪ Check machine accuracy and adjust accordingly Education Requirements: ▪ High school diploma or equivalent required. ▪ Working knowledge of tool Probing function for CNC Mill Machines ▪ Able to work with complex Numerical Control (NC) machines up to & including 5 Axis ▪ Knowledge of OEM machine controllers ▪ Technical troubleshooting skills ▪ Ability to read blueprints ▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills ▪ Basic knowledge of plant and machine safety ▪ Basic computer skills.
