Position Title: IT Support SpecialistLocation: Algoma, WIJob Type: Contract to HirePay Rate: $30.00 - $34.00 Hour / Range Based on ExperienceBenefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). <h2>Position Overview</h2><h3>IT Support Specialist</h3>We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support across a plant environment and additional local sites. This role is responsible for supporting end-user technology, resolving service requests, and ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations.<h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Provide on-site support for the plant and remote support for other locations</li><li>Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops (Windows & macOS), printers, and mobile devices</li><li>Install and support approved software, hardware, and peripherals</li><li>Manage and resolve service desk tickets with a focus on quick, first-touch resolution</li><li>Support user account management and access within Active Directory</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues</li><li>Deploy and configure IT equipment including PCs, printers, phones, and scanning devices</li><li>Partner with internal IT teams to align with company standards and best practices</li><li>Communicate updates on outages, vendor activity, and system changes to local leadership</li><li>Monitor systems for issues and respond or escalate as needed</li><li>Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support</li></ul><h3>What You Bring</h3><ul><li>Experience supporting Windows environments and end-user devices</li><li>Hands-on experience with hardware setup, deployment, and troubleshooting</li><li>Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li><li>Experience supporting manufacturing or plant environments is a plus </li></ul>Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
