Join the NC Department of Adult Correction as a CNA I, where you'll work alongside healthcare professionals to provide essential care and support to patients in a secure, structured environment.What You'll Do:
• Support RNs, LPNs, and Health Care Technicians with patient care tasks, including:
• Obtaining vital signs, weight, and height.
• Preparing patients for examinations.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Safely transport patients as needed.
• Observe and report patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Collect and label specimens (blood, urine, feces, and sputum) within your scope of practice.
