Salary/Hourly Rate: $110k - $120k Position Overview: We're looking for a highly organized and strategic Product Development Manager with a strong background in apparel to oversee the full product lifecycle-from initial concept through final production. This role acts as the central hub between creative, technical, and production teams, ensuring that seasonal collections are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. Responsibilities of the Temporary Product Development Manager:<ul><li> Partner with Creative, Technical, and Fit teams to drive a smooth, end-to-end development process. </li><li> Assign seasonal styles and manage designer workflow based on complexity, timelines, and team capacity. </li><li> Track design progress and ensure timely delivery of seasonal collections. </li><li> Oversee mood board creation, seasonal storytelling, and the selection of fabrics, trims, and concepts. </li><li> Maintain organized records of design samples and seasonal fabric books for team use. </li><li> Create and manage accurate tech packs; provide clear feedback on design elements such as prints and proportions. </li><li> Review samples for fit, quality, and accuracy; coordinate revisions with internal teams and factories. </li><li> Lead factory communication to ensure clarity on production timelines, specs, and QA standards. </li><li> Monitor and enforce deadlines for sample submissions, approvals, and material testing. </li><li> Track production status weekly, identifying and resolving potential delays proactively. </li><li> Strategically distribute styles across factories to optimize workflow and meet delivery goals. </li></ul> Required Experience/Skills for the Temporary Product Development Manager:<ul><li> 5+ years of experience in product development, technical design, or production within the apparel industry. </li><li> In-depth knowledge of garment construction, materials, and the full production cycle. </li><li> Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and Excel. </li></ul> Preferred Experience/Skills for the Temporary Product Development Manager:<ul><li> Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. </li><li> Strong communication and collaboration skills; experience working with cross-functional and overseas teams. </li></ul> Education Requirements:<ul><li> Bachelor's degree in related field. </li></ul> Benefits:<ul><li> Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul> By applying to this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, and/or emails from Atrium and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
