SUNY Geneseo seeks applicants for anticipated part-time temporary adjunct faculty openings. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and applicants will be contacted as needed.Teach undergraduate courses in Political Science. Possible courses include:<ul><li>Plsc 110 American Politics</li><li>Plsc 120 Comparative Politics</li><li>Plsc 140 International Politics</li><li>Upper level courses also available. Applicants should be enthusiastic about teaching undergraduates, willing to work with curriculum developed by the department, and generate excitement among students for the content of the material.Job ResponsibilitiesAdjunct InstructorEducation / ExperienceQualifications include:<ul><li>Holding a Master's degree</li><li>Significant experience, knowledge and skill in one or more of these areas:</li><li>Data Analytics</li><li>Statistics</li><li>Mathematics</li><li>Computer Science</li><li>Cybersecurity</li></ul>For certain courses, successful applicants may be expected to have expertise with particular software, such as R, Excel, or Access.Positions will be filled on an ongoing, as-needed basis to enhance our course offerings. Compensation is provided on a per-course basis at rates set by the college. Adjunct instructors will also have access to college facilities, be provided with instructional supplies, and be invited to department functions.
