Painting interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, structures, equipment, and furnishings where appearance, as well as surface protection, is important; Removes old finishes using appropriate methods to prepare surfaces for repainting; Tints, tones, matches, blends, and mixes various additives in prescribed proportions and required consistency; Uses proper precautions, materials, and techniques to ensure a clean safe work environment; Applies coating techniques to ensure surfaces meet match, texture, decorative, thickness, and level requirements; Prepares and sizes walls, cuts trim, wallpaper and/or vinyl; Removes and replaces old caulking. Maintains proper care, cleaning and storage of brushes, rollers, spray guns, paints, ladders, and other material and equipment used the worksite; and, Adheres to a given schedule completing work on time, Performs other duties as assigned.
