Responsibilities Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, perform and document all commissioning activities (pre-commissioning, through construction, testing - commissioning, energization - project close out) of various utility substation protection, control and power circuits in accordance with TRC''s and Client''s requirements, budgets, schedules Review of wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering documents in advance of projects and outages Perform trouble-shooting and problem analysis associated with protection and control systems and utility substation equipment, including but not limited to: Application Errors and Omissions, Drawing Errors and Omissions, Wiring Errors and Omissions, Settings Errors and Omissions, Equipment Malfunctions, Questionable Apparatus Test Results, Battery Ground Faults Participate in project meetings including but not limited to: kickoff meetings, planning meetings, progress meetings, lessons learned meetings. Demonstrated ability to both read and understand construction and manufacturer-s drawings and specifications as well as schematic diagrams Strong knowledge of (or the ability to learn) electrical protection systems, including relay communication; Basic understanding of (or the ability to learn) AC and DC schematics, wiring and drawings, one line and three line interconnection diagrams Prior professional experience in (or the ability to learn quickly) medium and high voltage substation and power plant equipment.
