Working under general technical guidance, an Electronic Technician specializes in ground-based electronic systems and works on various types of electronic equipment and related devices through a combination of installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, construction, and testing. Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Operate and maintain a combination of the following equipment dependent on position : Communication Tech: microwave amplifiers, fiber optics, network switches, electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, industrial measuring and controlling equipment, indicators and displays and communications systems .
