Uses calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, comparators, pin and force gauges, surface plates, drop indicators, height gauges, gauge blocks, eye loupes, Rockwell hardness testers, steel rulers, CMM and other related inspection equipment and hand trucks and pallet jacks to perform work. The Quality Inspector is responsible for Inspecting a variety of incoming materials, parts, and packaged goods to determine if they meet established specifications; documents variances, provides analysis, and assists with the proper disposition of non-conforming material.
