Requires the ability to perform on-site field inspections requiring a moderate amount of physical exertion to stoop, crouch, climb and lift; ability to work around electrical currents and building materials in a safe manner; sufficient hand-eye coordination to perform semi-skilled repetitive movements, such as drafting, use of hand tools, data entry, calculators and basic office equipment. Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in residential and/or commercial construction, building inspections, code enforcement, or a closely related field; municipal inspection experience preferred.
