We are security professionals with hospitality focused training. Our security team thrives on providing exceptional customer service, by maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests & fellow facility personnel. We watch over life & property, perform general crowd & access control duties. The position consists of 70% customer service and 30% security. We monitor entrances/exits, freight loading docks & doors and rove assigned areas within our worksite locations. Duties include but are not limited to; compliance with specific post instructions, credential checking, roving foot patrols to monitoring specific areas & other duties that may be required by Management. Post orders may also include Ticket Taking, Ushering, Guest Services, Special Services, Screening, Bag Checking and Asset Protection.Successful candidates must:<ul><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Have a current Class D Security License or Valid Temp Card (Blue) </li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Be 18 years or older</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Have completed a High School Diploma or GED</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Excellent communication skills, (clear and effective oral & written skills)</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Professional presentation, appearance reflecting customer service skills</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Authorization to work in the US if applicable.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Pass a criminal background check/random drug test</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Adhere to assigned schedules and be punctual</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Be able to climb stairs, stand and or walk for long periods of time</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Have the skills in operating radios for communications. </li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Observes, logs and reports unusual, dangerous or illegal activities, incidents or unauthorized individuals at an assigned site.</li></ul><ul><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Act to enforce client & facility regulations and directives for the site pertaining to exhibitors, guests, organizers personnel, visitors, and premises.</li><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">As assigned, may Rove on foot patrols for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.</li></ul>DisclaimerWith or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
