Under the direction of an Air Resources Supervisor I, the successful candidate will work as a member of a team that in collaboration with linked jurisdictions designs, tests, and operates the WCI, Inc. cap-and-trade tracking system and auction platform implementing our regional greenhouse gas reduction program, manages cap-and-trade auctions and reserve sales, supports user registration, and performs essential jurisdiction operations in the tracking system. Air Pollution Specialists in this section are subject matter experts in the day-to-day operation of the tracking system and auction platform with expertise in user registration, account management, instrument transactions, compliance retirement processes, as well as the annual cycle of cap-and-trade auction and reserve sales, including event application, bid guarantee processing, hosting, certification and settlement of events, currency exchange, and allowance distribution.
